We are seeking an Outdoor Dining Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort.
Role Summary:
The Outdoor Dining Supervisor will be responsible for working the outdoor dining area to supervise and support the service team, as well as be cross-utilized in other food and beverage outlets as necessary, to ensure efficient, attentive, and personalized guest service. This role will involve training, coaching and motivating team members to maintain Forbes-level service standards. The ideal candidate will exemplify the values and beliefs of Eau Resort & Spa.
We have a Full-Time position available.
This role is a flexible position (AM / PM shifts). All candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights.
This is designated for our outdoor restaurant, Breeze Ocean Kitchen.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Minimum 2-year(s) experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or Manager.
- Food Handling Certificate.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with guests, management and co-workers to ensure mutual understanding.
- Ability to provide legible communication.
- Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
Desirable
- Certification in alcoholic awareness program.
- Certification in C.P.R.
- Computer training in Word, Excel.
Essential Skills:
- Must possess strong leadership qualities.
- Ability to understand guests' service needs.
- Ability to thrive during very high levels of business.
- Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time.
- Ability to focus attention on details.
- Ability to suggestively sell restaurant menu items, beverages and wines.
- Ability to access and input information into Micros system.
- Ability to maintain good coordination while serving orders quickly.
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time in extreme temperatures.
- Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
- Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
