JOB TITLE: Security/Attendance Officer
FLSA: Non-Exempt
DEPARTMENT: Youth Services
REPORTS TO: Program Director
LOCATION: Bronx, NY
SALARY: 18.00 Hourly
SUMMARY:
The Security/Attendance Officer controls the Single Point of Access (entry and exit) at each location through managing a sign in and out log out of youth participants, parents/guardians, staff, and vendors/partners. The Security/Attendance Officer ensures the safety of the program at all times including deescalating potential conflicts and calling emergency services (police department, fire department, etc.) when needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
At least two years of experience working in afterschool programs required. High school diploma/GED preferred. High energy, dynamic personality and genuine passion for youth needed.
