Job Title:

Counter Associate / Food Service Worker

Step into a lively role as a Food Service Worker / Counter Associate at Einstein Bagels on the UW Eau Claire campus. This position is ideal for individuals who are energized by customer-facing work, excel in fast-paced environments, and value a team-oriented atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service at the counter, taking orders and answering guest questions with a friendly attitude.
• Assemble and serve sandwiches and other menu items according to company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary food preparation and service area.
• Restock supplies and help keep workstations tidy throughout the shift.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and cleanliness protocols.
• Work collaboratively with teammates to ensure efficient, high-quality customer experiences during busy periods.

Desired Qualities:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and the ability to handle high-volume periods.
• Reliability, presentable appearance, and adherence to the required uniform (black collared shirt, black pants, slip-resistant shoes).
• Basic computer competency is a plus.

No prior food service experience or formal education is required. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid vacation, paid holidays, and a referral bonus program.

Pay:

$16.50 per hour

Location:

Eau Claire, WI

Shift:

Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Full-time, temporary (approximately 3 - 8 months, until end of semester or end of school year)
