Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring a skilled CNC Programmer II for projects located in and around Kent, WA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $36/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope:

  • Interpret 2D blueprints and 3D CAD models, including GD&T tolerances
  • Program using CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam for 3- and 4-axis CNC mills
  • Create and edit G-code and M-code for CNC machines
  • Select, design, and plan job-specific cutting tools and fixtures
  • Prepare setup sheets and machinist instructions
  • Collaborate with operators and machinists to improve machining parameters
  • Support tooling standardization and capital equipment selection
  • Implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices
  • Mentor CNC Programmer I team members
  • Follow all safety and quality policies
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Experience as a Machinist and Programmer
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software
  • Strong blueprint reading & GD&T interpretation skills
  • Mathematical and Technical aptitude
  • Ability to work as a part of a team and meet deadlines
  • Detail Oriented
  • Safety Awareness
  • Proper PPE
