Patient Access Coordinator — $21-22/hr + Weekly Incentives
Looking to start your career in healthcare? We're hiring a Patient Access Coordinator to join our patient outreach team. This is an in-person role based at our Palm Springs office — no prior healthcare experience required; we'll train you on everything you need to know.
What you'll do:
- Call patients to schedule wellness visits, physicals, and necessary follow-up appointments
- Build genuine rapport with patients and coordinate with their care providers
- Track outreach and patient info in our scheduling/EMR software
- Work collaboratively with the care team — family, physicians, and providers — to coordinate services
- Provide summaries to relevant stakeholders to help improve patient outcomes
- Communicate as needed with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Follow all HIPAA, confidentiality, and privacy guidelines
What we're looking for:
- Reliable and punctual — someone we can count on to show up and follow through
- Ready and willing to learn — we'll train you on our software and processes
- Strong communication skills — friendly, clear, and professional on the phone
- Comfortable learning new software quickly (Microsoft Office required)
- Able to handle a fast-paced call environment
- High school diploma required
Nice to have (not required):
- AA or Bachelor's degree
- Experience with patient engagement/interaction
- Experience in a contact center environment
- Experience with EMR software (eClinicalWorks, Athena, PracticeFusion, etc.)
- Bilingual
- Unrestricted driver's license
Schedule: Monday–Friday Required, on-site
