Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage water and wastewater engineering design projects from concept through completion.
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, blueprints, aerial photography, and geotechnical data to plan and design projects.
  • Assess and identify collection/distribution system performance issues and develop innovative, cost-effective solutions.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, engineering cost estimates, and project schedules.
  • Perform hydraulic designs, sewer rehabilitation planning, pump station design, and treatment process engineering.
  • Review designs for quality, accuracy, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Attend client meetings, provide project updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of professional engineering experience in water/wastewater design and project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, ArcGIS, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience with municipal, county, or state government projects.
  • Knowledge of heavy construction methods and environmental facility operations.
