Become a Key Player as a Maintenance Technician
You will maintain and restore CNC and machine shop equipment to keep production running smoothly. You will support the production and maintenance teams by troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and computerized systems. This role is onsite on the 1st shift (5:00 AM – 1:30 PM), working standard weekdays (5x8).
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and align CNC machine tools and numerical control systems to ensure optimal production operation
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on lathes, mills, grinders, hydraulic press systems, and related tooling
- Remove, repair, relocate, and reinstall machine parts with precision alignment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, plumbing, and computerized machine control systems
- Fabricate, install, maintain, and overhaul production test stands, fixtures, and high-pressure tubing/hoses
- Set up and operate welding equipment (arc and acetylene) to fabricate or repair components
- Calibrate and operationally test new or rebuilt CNC and machine shop equipment after installation
- Use computers and specialized software for maintenance scheduling, diagnostics, and reporting
- Perform building and facility maintenance tasks (plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC) to support manufacturing operations
- Coordinate hazardous materials handling, spills, disposal, compliance inspections, and record-keeping
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- Five years of related maintenance experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and sketches
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as a participative team member
Here's What Else Might Help You Out
- Proficiency with pump and valve overhaul procedures, especially aerospace-associated equipment
- Knowledge of general hydraulics technology (pumps, cylinders, accumulators, filters, piping, tube bending)
- Experience with chemicals and contamination-control standards for hydraulic/pneumatic systems
- Working knowledge of computers and software for creating reports and spreadsheets
Pay Range
$36.00 - $45.00/hour
