Job Title: Registered Nurse – Case Manager
Location: San Pedro, CA
Type: Contract (Travel/Local)
Shift: Day Shift | 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM
Schedule: 5x8 Hours
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 05/11/2026

Position Overview:
The RN Case Manager coordinates patient care, manages utilization review, and ensures effective discharge planning in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate patient care across the continuum
• Perform utilization review using InterQual
• Develop and execute discharge planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure appropriate resource utilization
• Document in Epic EMR
• Support safe and timely patient discharge

Qualifications:
• Active California RN License – Required
• Acute care experience (MS/Tele/ICU + some ER exposure) – Required
• California Case Management experience – Mandatory
• Strong experience in Care Coordination & Utilization Review
• InterQual & Epic EMR experience – Required
• Excellent clinical, communication, and documentation skills

Additional Details:
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
