Shift: Nights, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM (4 shifts/week, 10-hour shifts)
Job Description:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room (OR) on a travel contract basis. This position is ideal for RNs with surgical experience who are comfortable in fast-paced OR settings and delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative nursing care in a surgical environment
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all instruments and equipment are ready
- Monitor patient status during surgical procedures
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist the surgical team
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members
- Ensure accurate documentation and patient safety throughout procedures
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Georgia (or eligible for licensure)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
- Prior Operating Room experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and a 4x10 schedule
- Strong clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to function effectively in high-pressure surgical environments
