Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Driving Scalable Growth

Company Overview

We are a behavioral health ecosystem delivering both services and technology solutions to the B2B behavioral health market. Our provider-first model supports psychologists and therapists nationwide across diverse assignments—skilled nursing facilities, correctional settings, VA systems—reducing burnout while maintaining exceptional clinical quality.

Alongside services, we develop proprietary technology—including recruiting, credentialing, scheduling, documentation, and payroll systems—to support scalable growth. Our long-term vision is a national platform with thousands of providers and an end-to-end offering combining services and licensable technology.

We are well past the early startup phase and entering an inflection point of disciplined, sustainable scale, where early momentum must be translated into repeatable systems, accountable leadership, and durable growth.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and seasoned COO—an operator who partners with the founder and executive team to drive operational scale, organizational maturity, and sustainable growth. This role focuses on building robust operating systems, leadership accountability, and execution discipline to enable thoughtful, sustainable growth.

We are looking for an operator who has guided organizations through major growth phases, understands the realities of scaling that didn’t happen perfectly, and knows how to bring structure, clarity, and accountability without stifling creativity or talent. This is a seat-at-the-table role for a leader who complements an entrepreneurial, fast-moving culture with strong operational rigor.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the transition from founder-driven execution to repeatable, scalable operating systems
  • Lead and streamline company-wide operations across clinical, administrative, and technical functions
  • Translate strategy into execution through clear operating rhythms, reporting, and accountability
  • Build, improve, and scale processes that were created with good intentions but need refinement
  • Make and implement tough operational decisions, including performance management and organizational discipline
  • Mentor and develop director-level leaders, helping them grow into scalable executives
  • Design dashboards, metrics, and reporting structures that leadership relies on
  • Partner closely with the founder on growth initiatives, operational priorities, and long-term platform strategy during a critical scaling chapter
  • Ensure the organization can scale without burning out people or breaking systems

Who You Are

  • Proven experience scaling organizations through revenue, headcount, and operational complexity
  • A seasoned operator, not a first-time executive
  • Experienced in tech-enabled services, ideally within healthcare, health tech, or a blend of both
  • Comfortable operating across people, process, and technology
  • Confident in challenging ideas, humble in taking feedback
  • A strong communicator with a sense of humor and high emotional intelligence
  • Someone who wants ownership, influence, and accountability—not just a title

Location & Travel

  • Ideal candidate is willing to relocate to Phoenix, AZ, though relocation is not strictly required
  • Must be willing to spend significant time in Phoenix, especially during the first phase
  • Relocation assistance available for the right candidate

Compensation & Upside

  • Competitive executive-level base salary
  • Performance-based bonus
  • Long-term incentive opportunity
  • Potential for vested equity
  • Full benefits package

Why This Role

This is not a maintenance role. It’s a chance to shape, scale, and mature a behavioral health platform with national reach, tangible clinical impact, and significant long-term upside.

If you are an operator who thrives in complexity, enjoys building order out of growth, and wants a true partnership role in a scaling organization, this position offers both challenge and reward.
