A Hyatt Place Housekeeping Supervisor manages daily cleaning operations, inspects guest rooms and public areas for brand compliance, and leads, trains, and schedules staff.  They ensure high-quality cleanliness standards, resolve guest issues, manage inventory/supplies, and support the housekeeping manager. 

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Inspection & Quality Control: Thoroughly inspects guest suites and public areas to ensure they meet Hyatt brand standards, including cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
• Team Leadership & Training: Supervises, coaches, and trains Room Attendants, Housepersons, and laundry staff to maintain performance standards.
• Operations Coordination: Assigns daily tasks, monitors inventory/cleaning supplies, and coordinates with the front desk on room status (e.g., check-outs, VIPs, do-not-disturb).
• Guest Service: Responds promptly to guest requests, questions, or complaints to ensure a positive experience.
• Administrative Duties: Assists with scheduling, handles lost and found items, and performs inspections to identify maintenance needs. 

Job Requirements

• Experience: Previous housekeeping experience, often with supervisory experience, is typically required.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, leadership ability, attention to detail, and proficiency in, or ability to learn, hotel property management systems.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and lift or move up to 25–50 pounds, depending on the specific location's requirements. 

Housekeeping Supervisors often work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet hotel needs.
