This is an opportunity to join the Finance team of a dynamic and ambitious entertainment business in a highly cross functional role. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the FP&A function and activities collaborating with the Content Strategy & Analysis, Corporate Development, Film and TV operating divisions. A successful candidate will be highly motivated, analytical, have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once, has a strong desire to learn, and is a team-oriented self-starter.
Key Responsibilities
Support the annual budget, long range plan, quarterly forecasts at the department and consolidated level
Prepare and manage monthly and quarterly business reviews, and ad hoc management reports and trackers across film and TV projects, as well as overhead and development budgets
Support cash flow forecasting, loan management, and liquidity planning
Partner with Accounting and Production Finance on cash management, funding needs, and foreign currency management
Partner with Content Strategy & Analysis and Production to reflect initiatives and updates within the plan
Support new reporting and processes by leveraging the capabilities of various AI tools
Engage in ad hoc financial analysis and special projects at the request of CFO and the VP of FP&A
Manage the library titles retirement process
Qualifications & Requirements
2–3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, management consulting, or finance, ideally in the media and entertainment industry
Proficiency in film and TV business models, financial modeling, and accounting principles; enthusiasm for new AI and automation technologies
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills, including the ability to prepare executive-level materials
Intellectual curiosity, strong desire to learn, and a genuine passion for media and entertainment
Bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record required; MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus
Hiring Salary Range is between $85,000 to $95,000 per year, dependent on experience and level. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including, but not limited to, market demands, experience/training, and education.
