Job Summary

The Digital Media Specialist creates and produces engaging multimedia content to support digital marketing, branding, and enrollment initiatives. This role specializes in social-first video production, editing, and content creation for digital platforms, ensuring content aligns with brand standards, campaign objectives, and audience engagement strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Produce and edit high-quality video content for digital and social media platforms.
  • Capture multimedia content using mobile devices, cameras, and professional production equipment.
  • Create short-form and long-form videos optimized for YouTube, TikTok, Meta, and other digital channels.
  • Develop compelling visual storytelling that supports marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing and digital strategy teams to execute creative concepts.
  • Repurpose multimedia content across multiple digital platforms.
  • Ensure all digital content meets branding and quality standards.
  • Optimize videos with appropriate titles, thumbnails, captions, and formatting.
  • Analyze content performance and recommend improvements using platform analytics.
  • Apply accessibility standards, including captions and visual clarity.
  • Stay current with emerging social media trends, tools, and content formats.
  • Manage multiple multimedia projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to deliver engaging digital content.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Communications, Film, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in digital media, video production, marketing, or related roles.
  • Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Experience creating social-first video content using mobile and professional camera equipment.
  • Strong understanding of YouTube, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of video storytelling, editing, pacing, and audience engagement.
  • Experience optimizing digital content for performance.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards for multimedia content.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
