Pier Staff Worker
We are seeking a professional, friendly and energetic individual with great customer service skills to join our team as a Pier Staff until md-October.
Work schedule
Work schedule
- Must be available every weekend in summertime .
- The commitment would be from now till end of October
- Available (5) days on weekdays from schedule is from 2 pm - 10pm (must be flexible)
Primary Responsibilities
- Taking orders from customers;
- Handling transactions and cash-handling;
- Providing excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns;
- Performing light gardening;
- Maintaining cleanliness of the Pier;
- Stocking inventory and replenishing supplies;
- Lifting boxes;
- Commitment to Manhattan Youth’s mission;
- Perform other job duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D required;
- Must have cashier (POS) experience
- Experience with gardening and maintenance is a plus;
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time;
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits
$17 - $20/hr. + tips
