Are you a strategic, forward-thinking surgical services leader ready to drive operational excellence and patient care? A respected, award-winning not-for-profit health system in the Midwest is seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services to oversee and elevate its perioperative departments.

The Opportunity:

In this high-impact role, you'll lead a comprehensive scope of services including the Operating Room, Endoscopy, PACU, Ambulatory Surgery, Pre-Admission Testing, Central Sterile, and more. You'll play a key role in improving surgical throughput, advancing technology, optimizing staffing, and supporting high-quality, cost-effective patient care. Reporting to the CNO, you’ll also collaborate closely with senior leadership and medical staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Nursing or relevant field required; Master’s preferred
  • CNOR preferred
  • 5+ years of OR/Surgical Services experience; 2+ years in a Director-level role
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, technology, process improvement, and financial oversight
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills
