Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in telemetry, medical-surgical nursing, and cardiac monitoring while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients requiring cardiac telemetry.

• Interpret telemetry strips and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.

• Administer medications and assist with conscious sedation procedures.

• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as needed.

• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

• Follow hospital policies and patient safety standards.

Requirements:

• Active New York State RN License

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) or higher (BSN preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience

• Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience with conscious sedation

• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience

• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications

• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
