Description
 TeleSolv Consulting is seeking qualified candidates for a Functional Area Supervisor position supporting a Federal Government operation. This role requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and experience managing staff in a structured, high-volume Government environment. The Functional Area Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operational activities, ensuring compliance with Government procedures, and maintaining production standards. This position serves as a key liaison between staff and site leadership while ensuring all assignments are completed accurately and within established timelines.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

Responsibilities:
  • Assign, monitor, and review the work of department staff.
  • Report daily production statistics to the Site Manager.
  • Prioritize workloads and reallocate resources to meet goals set by the Government.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all assignments, including daily timesheets.
  • Monitor attendance, absences, and team performance trends.
  • Facilitate processing of priority assignments from the Government.
  • Identify and address performance issues; approve time off; participate in disciplinary actions.
  • Train new staff and develop training plans.
  • Create and update written standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in meetings with Government personnel.
  • Serve as the point of contact for site operations in the Site Manager’s absence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.                                                                                                      


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (Suitability) Clearance
  • Prior experience supporting a Government operation or field office
  • Demonstrated experience developing training materials and/or standard operating procedures
  • Strong supervisory and team leadership skills
  • Experience managing workflow in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and execute standardized operational procedures
  • Professionalism in Government-facing environments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
