As a Security Officer Mall Center Bike & Patrol Driver in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to guest concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail center location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or operational concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, medical situations, and/or alarms, and escalate to onsite management and/or public responders as needed.
• Monitor and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards, completing detailed written reports and maintaining accurate logs of patrols and incidents.
• Control access to restricted areas when assigned, assist with crowd and/or traffic flow during peak periods or special events, and provide directions and assistance to guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
