Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical / Surgical

Location: Cumming, GA 30041
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Varies

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in a fast-paced inpatient setting. The unit consists of 32 private rooms and serves a diverse patient population, including general medical-surgical and orthopedic cases. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and orthopedic patients
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA BLS certification (required)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
