Position Description/Background:

The Client Service Associate (CSA) supports the administration and operations of new and existing client accounts. This includes serving as the liaison between the business development, sales, portfolio administration, trading, investment management, operations and compliance teams.

A successful candidate in this position will possess excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail as well as solid verbal and written communication skills. They will have the ability to successfully manage consumer data and develop effective reports. They must have the ability to work well with other team members as well as independently and possess a high degree of integrity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties are generally representative of the nature and level of work assigned. They are not necessarily all inclusive.

New account processing:

  • Gather necessary paperwork, contracts and agreements, and obtain any necessary authorized management signatures
  • Coordinate the new account onboarding process and respond to questions from the sales, portfolio administration, trading, investment management, operation and compliance teams
  • Provide back-up support in new institutional account openings

Existing account service:

  • Respond to inbound existing client service emails from advisors/sales assistants
  • Respond to questions on existing accounts from the sales, portfolio administration, trading, investment management, operation and compliance teams
  • Correspond with advisors & sales assistants answer questions on existing client accounts
  • Provide back-up support for institutional account requests from consultants and clients

Administration:

  • Conduct Quarter/Annual questionnaire preparation
  • Assist the Marketing team by generating quarterly reports
  • Provide inbound sales call backup as necessary
  • Provide administrative support to management
  • Provide literature fulfillment orders support from sales team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal interaction and relationship management skills

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This person must be able to exchange accurate information when working with others and be able to work at a desk operating a computer and other office equipment at least 90 percent of the time, as well as move about the facility to meet with people and access files, other information, operate office machinery, etc.
