Responsibilities

Located at Clovis Community Medical Center, our Labor & Delivery department is a 16-bed unit that supports a wide spectrum of maternal care — from low to high acuity, including high-risk pregnancy care. As part of the team that helps deliver more than half of the births in our region, you’ll play a leadership role in a high-impact setting that brings the joy of childbirth to thousands of families each year. With a focus on clinical excellence, compassion and teamwork, this role offers the chance to grow as a leader while making a meaningful difference in maternal care.

  • Apply the leadership and administrative skills you developed at the bedside to support a team that provides safe, high-quality care across the full spectrum of labor and delivery.
  • Coordinate patient care, foster staff development, drive performance improvements and ensure operational efficiency within a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
  • Foster a positive working environment in your unit as part of an inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are valued, and you actively help team members navigate their career growth and development.

As a member of the unit leadership team, the Assistant Nurse Manager is an exempt level role scheduled 8-hour shifts.
