The Minibar Attendant performs all duties associated with minibar including restock, cleaning and servicing of all minibar refrigerators and pantry items.

Job Specific

  • Inventories guest room refreshment pantries to determine consumption by guest
  • Prepares refreshment pantry charge ticket and forwards to appropriate cashier for billing to guest account
  • Replenishes refreshment pantry items consumed
  • Inspect refreshment pantry contents and maintains freshness of product
  • Cleans and maintains refreshment pantry appearance to established standards
  • Removes consumed amenity items and/or room service trays from guest rooms
  • Completes DND/No Service, inventory and in-house guest list paperwork
  • Communicates discrepancies regarding refreshment pantry usage to captain
  • Restocks and rotates refreshment pantry attendant cart supplies

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One plus years experience as Food Service /Room Service Attendant in quality food service/hotel operation
  • Thorough knowledge of quality food service techniques and standards
  • Exceptional guest service attitude and abilities
  • Ability to lift, carry, and push carts weighting 35+ pounds
  • Ability to bend and walk for long periods at a time
  • Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
