The State of South Carolina is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst – Consultant to support its Test Automation Center of Excellence initiative. This role will focus on software testing, test automation, and quality assurance processes for enterprise systems, including finance, HCM, logistics, and treasury applications.

The consultant will develop testing strategies, execute test plans, and ensure software quality through automated and manual testing methodologies.

· Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and testing artifacts.

· Interpret business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs.

· Perform manual and automated testing for enterprise applications.

· Support test automation initiatives and quality assurance processes.

· Validate system functionality and ensure compliance with testing standards.

· Collaborate with development teams to improve software quality.

· Support enterprise system testing across finance, HCM, logistics, and treasury processes.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

· 5+ years experience as a Quality Assurance Test Engineer or Analyst.

· 5+ years experience with software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.

· Moderate knowledge of Finance, HCM, Logistics, and Treasury processes.

· Ability to interpret requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs to produce testing artifacts.

· Tricentis/Tosca certification (Tricentis Certified Professional – Tosca Testsuite).

· Experience with test automation using Tricentis Tosca (Tosca Commander, Tosca TBox).

· Knowledge of SAP and SaaS enterprise systems.

· Experience with S4 Hana migration testing and change impact analysis.

· Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall development methodologies.

· Experience testing web applications, APIs, and mobile applications.

· Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG.

· Proficiency in test scripting languages (VBScript, JavaScript, Python).

· Knowledge of SQL and database validation concepts.

· Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and development teams.
