One Tech Engineering is searching for an E &C Engineer for a position located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, or Denver, Colorado. The E&C Engineer will be performing energy efficiency calculations to estimate customer energy savings.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 2–5 years of experience in corporate, consulting, or utility environments.

E&C Engineer Responsibilities:

• Reviewing customer project submissions and determining data sufficiency.
• Creating analyses comparing proposed projects vs. baseline conditions.
• Supporting rebate determinations and customer incentive letters.
• Developing and maintaining calculators for prescriptive rebate programs.
• Acting as a technical resource for account managers, customers, and vendors.
• Supporting limited technology areas (e.g., cooling, heating, refrigeration, compressed air).
• Reviewing incoming customer project submissions.
• Requesting additional technical details when needed.
• Performing energy savings analyses.

Requirements of the E&C Engineer:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in corporate, consulting, or utility environments.
• Experience in energy consulting, DSM, or sustainability preferred.
• Strong technical and engineering aptitude.
• Ability to perform energy efficiency calculations.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including in ambiguous situations.
• Experience with Excel (VBA) and/or Python.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification is a plus.
