Maintenance Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Vivo Healthcare West Orange in Ocoee, Florida. As a key member of our facilities team, the Maintenance Director will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our healthcare facility's equipment, systems, and infrastructure to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain all facility equipment, systems, and infrastructure to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety regulations.

• Oversee the work of maintenance staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.

• Collaborate with facility management and other departments to ensure timely and effective resolution of maintenance issues.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, reports, and inventory management.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, preferably in a healthcare setting.

• Demonstrated expertise in maintenance operations, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and collaborate with staff and stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues.
