We are currently seeking a Part-Time Evening Laundry Attendant to help keep our linens and facilities running smoothly during evening hours. 

About Us 

Desolation Hotel Hope Valley is a 27-cabin resort property featuring a small campground, luxury yurts, and two on-site restaurants, all nestled in the mountains and along the West Fork Carson River. Our property blends upscale comfort with a relaxed, nature-focused guest experience. 

Job Responsibilities 

• Wash and dry laundry using commercial laundry equipment 
• Iron, fold, and properly store linens and other items 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the housekeeping and laundry facilities 
• Transport laundry safely across the property as needed 
• Coordinate tasks and requests with other team members and other departments such as Front Desk and Maintenance teams 
• Deliver items such as pillows, blankets, fans, playpens or cots to cabins upon request. 
• Perform other standard housekeeping and laundry-related duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Managers 

Requirements 

• Must be 18 years of age or older 
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs 
• Ability to comfortably and safely walk the property while carrying items or pulling carts 
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and with others 
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Typical Shift Times & Expected Hours

Evening laundry shifts have a 4pm start time with an 8 or 9pm end time. Extended hours in summer will be available. 

• This position is for Saturday & Sunday shifts, with an option for 1 additional week day, at this time.
• Shifts over 5 hours receive a 30-minute lunch
