Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Location: Canton, Ohio
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift – 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care for mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum process. The ideal candidate will have recent Labor & Delivery experience and be comfortable managing labor and induction patients, circulating in the OB Operating Room, and caring for antepartum patients.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor, delivery, and antepartum patients.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
• Assist with labor inductions and obstetric procedures.
• Circulate in the OB Operating Room during cesarean deliveries.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using the electronic medical record system.
• Recognize and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and hospital policies.

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact State RN License.
• Minimum 18 months of permanent Labor & Delivery experience.
• Minimum 18 months of recent Labor & Delivery experience as the primary home unit.
• Experience caring for labor/induction patients, circulating in the OB Operating Room, and managing antepartum assignments.
• Current AHA BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.
• Current STABLE Certification.

• Experience with Epic Stork electronic medical record system.

• One recent professional reference from a Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM), Supervisor, or Director within the Labor & Delivery specialty is required. References must be from assignments worked within the past 12 months. Coworker references will not be accepted.
• Must successfully complete ECG Rhythm Recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during onboarding.
