Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health for an exciting Travel or Local job in Aventura, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of a 53-bed Behavioral Health unit
• Manage staffing, scheduling, hiring, and performance evaluations
• Supervise approximately 108 FTEs including RNs, BHTs, and CNCs
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and JCAHO standards
• Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and satisfaction initiatives
• Provide clinical leadership and crisis intervention guidance
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain operational efficiency and fiscal productivity
• Support staff development and mentorship programs
• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality behavioral health care

Requirements:

• 3–5 years Behavioral Health nursing experience in acute care setting
• Minimum 1 year leadership experience (Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or similar)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active Florida RN License or Multistate Compact License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) within 90 days of hire
