Job Summary
The University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurses to provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after minimally invasive image-guided procedures. The RN will monitor patients, administer medications and moderate sedation, collaborate with physicians and the procedural team, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care throughout the IR experience.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing experience
Telemetry experience required
Experience with procedural sedation and post-procedure recovery preferred
Strong critical care assessment and monitoring skills
Ability to participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations
Required Credentials
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Minimum 1 year of recent IR nursing experience
Telemetry experience required
