Become a Key Player as a Production Assembler 1

As a Production Assembler 1, you will help deliver precise mechanical and electromechanical assemblies that keep production on schedule and meet quality standards. You will work on the second shift (Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM–10:00 PM) onsite with the production team and follow established procedures to support manufacturing outputs and safety compliance. Your work directly impacts product build quality and throughput for the organization.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

• Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts and components per company instructions and procedures
• Review shop traveler/route cards or basic schematic drawings to confirm sequence of operations
• Position and manipulate very small parts under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures
• Adjust, bend, align and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts
• Bond or seal parts or assemblies with epoxies and perform in-process testing
• Follow and demonstrate all safety policies and procedures
• Maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance and be available for variable schedules or additional hours as needed
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• 1–2 years of relevant assembler or mechanical assembly experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Assembler experience and demonstrated manual dexterity for handling small parts
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop travelers, or uncomplicated schematics
• Good mechanical aptitude and ability to operate hand tools and light machinery
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Willingness and ability to learn to use an industrial sewing machine (required)

Pay Range

$17.60 - $22.00/hour
