Job Title: Lot Technician – The Engine of Our Dealership!

Are you the kind of person who loves working outside, staying active, and making things shine? We are looking for an energetic, hands-on Lot Technician to be the heartbeat of our Montrose RV dealership!

You won’t just be maintaining a lot; you’ll be setting the stage for our customers' next big outdoor adventure. From making sure our massive inventory looks pristine to helping a family understand how to use their brand-new RV, you are the crucial link that keeps our dealership running smoothly. If you have a stellar work ethic, love variety in your workday, and want to be part of a fast-paced team, we want you in our driver's seat!

What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

  • First Impressions Champion: You are the master of the grounds. You’ll keep our massive sales lot and property looking sharp, organized, and inviting. From sweeping and clearing debris to tending the grounds, you make sure our dealership looks its absolute best.
  • The RV Whisperer (Prep & Repairs): You’ll get our units in tip-top, "sale-ready" shape. This includes hands-on detailing and performing minor heroics (maintenance and repairs) on plumbing, 12V/110V electrical systems, appliances, and cabinetry.
  • Adventure Guide (Customer Orientations): You get to be the expert! You’ll conduct walk-throughs with excited new owners, demonstrating exactly how their new RV works and sending them off with confidence and a smile.
  • Pit Crew Supporter: You’ll have the backs of our Service and Parts departments—keeping shop bays clean and safe, and hitting the road for local parts runs to keep the team moving.
  • Safety Captain: You’ll keep a watchful eye out for hazards, adhering to company protocols to ensure our lot is a safe haven for both coworkers and customers.

Do You Have What It Takes? (Qualifications & Skills)

The Essentials:

  • The Basics: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • The Keys to the Castle: A valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record.
  • The Trust Factor: Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • The Mindset: You possess an eagle-eye for detail, stellar organizational skills, and the ability to hustle both independently and alongside a great team.
  • The Voice: Excellent communication skills and a passion for treating customers like VIPs.

Bonus Points (Preferred, but not dealbreakers!):

  • Heavy Machinery Guru: Experience operating large vehicles, a yard tractor, or a forklift.
  • Towing Pro: You know your way around a hitch and towing setup.
  • Handy: Basic mechanical aptitude or past experience tinkering with RV systems (plumbing, electrical, etc.).

The Physical Demands (Get Ready to Move!)

Skip the gym membership—this job will keep you moving!

  • Action-Oriented: You’ll be climbing, balancing, stooping, and using your whole body to get the job done.
  • Heavy Lifting: Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds (or more with some trusty assistive devices).
  • Embrace the Elements: You’ll be working outdoors for extended periods, enjoying all the varying weather that beautiful Colorado has to offer!
