Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Dump Truck Operators for projects located in and around Oakland, CA. This is a variable shift opportunity with shifts possibly 6AM–6PM or 6PM–6AM. The pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
  • Operate 10-speed dump trucks safely to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, asphalt, and debris to and from construction or job sites
  • Follow all DOT and site safety regulations while operating vehicles
  • Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, reporting any mechanical issues or damage
  • Assist with onsite material loading and unloading by positioning the truck accurately and communicating with equipment operators
  • Ensure proper dumping procedures to avoid spills or site hazards
Requirements:
    • Must have experience operating dump trucks in a construction or job site environment
    • Full PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, boots, high-visibility clothing)
    • Ability to work variable shifts and adapt to site schedules
    • Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to communicate effectively with onsite personnel
