Little Chef Chinese Takeout – San Diego, CA

Little Chef Chinese Takeout is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Cleaning & Sanitation Worker to help maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. This position is ideal for someone who can work independently, take initiative, and take pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards in a busy restaurant kitchen.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, punctual, and motivated to complete tasks thoroughly without constant supervision.

Position Type: Part-time
Hours: Approximately 20–35 hours per week
Start Date: Immediate opening

• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools
• Deep clean kitchen equipment and work surfaces
• Sweep and mop floors, including under and behind equipment
• Maintain overall kitchen cleanliness and sanitation
• Take out trash and maintain waste areas
• Follow restaurant sanitation and food safety standards
• Identify areas that need cleaning and complete tasks independently
• Assist with general kitchen maintenance as needed

• Previous restaurant or commercial kitchen cleaning experience required
• Ability to work independently and manage cleaning tasks efficiently
• Reliable and consistently on time
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently
• Physically able to perform cleaning tasks and stand for extended periods
• Having a vehicle and ability to travel between locations is a plus
