Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends as needed

The Opportunity

Pinnacle Recruitment Services is partnering with an established service organization in the Fresno area to identify an experienced Branch Manager to lead its local operation.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys running a business, developing a team, improving operational performance, and delivering an excellent customer experience. The Branch Manager will have responsibility for the overall performance of the Fresno branch, including revenue growth, profitability, staffing, service quality, fleet coordination, and day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate is an operational leader who is comfortable moving between the office, yard, and field. This person will lead the team while remaining close enough to the operation to step in and solve problems when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the overall operational and financial performance of the branch, with a focus on revenue growth and profitability.
  • Lead, coach, and develop branch employees while creating a positive, accountable, and safety-focused culture.
  • Partner closely with branch supervisors to ensure daily work and customer commitments are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Monitor service quality and the customer experience through field observations, quality checks, customer follow-up, and collaboration with the sales team.
  • Analyze branch performance and operational activity to identify opportunities to improve productivity, service, and profitability.
  • Oversee staffing needs, including interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, employee development, and corrective action when necessary.
  • Monitor staffing levels and turnover trends to proactively address hiring needs.
  • Support routing, scheduling, and daily field operations to ensure appropriate coverage.
  • Coordinate vehicle inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair needs with appropriate fleet resources.
  • Maintain high standards for the condition and care of company vehicles and equipment.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, sales, fleet, and senior leadership.
  • Step into field operations when necessary to maintain customer service and operational continuity.
  • Ensure branch operations comply with established safety policies, procedures, and company standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous branch management, operations management, general management, or comparable leadership experience.
  • Experience managing employees in a field-service, route-based, logistics, construction, equipment, environmental, industrial, or similar operational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operational performance with an understanding of revenue, costs, productivity, and profitability.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience hiring, coaching, developing, and holding employees accountable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and ability to effectively resolve service issues.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Teams, and the ability to learn routing and field-service technology.
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid California driver's license required.

Work Environment

This is an active, hands-on operational leadership position. The Branch Manager will regularly spend time in both office and field environments and may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, vehicle and equipment operations, noise, dust, and other conditions common to field-service operations.

The position requires regular travel to local work locations and the ability to assist with operational needs when necessary.
