POSITION OVERVIEW: This position is a safety-sensitive, first-line supervisory position in the Transportation Services Department. Work involves use of a computerized dispatch and radio control system and monitoring of the Transit Center operation. The employee is responsible for making decisions related to established policies, practices, and procedures to carry out the safe and efficient operations of Regional Transit Service.
Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Manager of Transit Center Operations and the Manager of Dispatch. This position is associated with the Teamsters, Local 118 Collective Bargaining Unit.
Starting wage rate in accordance with the Teamsters, Local 118 collective bargaining agreement: $28.81
SCHEDULE: Will be a floater assigned to cover any vacant Radio Control and Dispatch shifts that may arise. Must be available to work flexible days, shifts, hours.
