Chirp is looking for an Assembly Technician to support the production of precision robotics components in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
This role is a good fit for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with their hands. The work may involve a mix of manual assembly, machine-assisted processes, automation support, inspection, and general production tasks. The exact responsibilities may vary day to day as we continue building out our manufacturing processes.
You do not need extensive prior experience, but you should be comfortable learning new tools, following instructions carefully, and taking pride in clean, consistent work.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building things, working with their hands, and being part of a fast-moving manufacturing team. We are looking for someone who can do careful, consistent work while also staying flexible as priorities change.
This is not a narrow assembly-line position. You may be supporting different parts of the production process depending on what the team needs, from preparing parts and using hand tools to running equipment, assisting automated processes, and helping with final assembly.
There is room to grow for someone who wants to take on more responsibility. As the team expands, this role could develop into more advanced assembly, equipment operation, quality control, process improvement, or production leadership responsibilities.
Compensation:$20 - $25 hourly
