Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Flat Welders for projects located in and around Spokane Valley, WA. This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of up to $28/hour based on experience & skill level plus $125/per diem for travelers of 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

  • MIG welding with .035 hardwire
  • Material reading & blueprint interpretation
  • Machine setup & adjustments
  • Weld mild steel, stainless steel, and occasionally aluminum according to blueprints
  • Inspect welded parts for accuracy and quality
  • Follow all OSHA and WISHA safety requirements
  • Operate a forklift as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
  • Communicate machinery or quality issues to management
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of MIG welding experience
  • Ability to read & interpret blueprints
  • Proficient in shop math & problem-solving
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • AWS D1.1 (Structural Steel) Certification Preferred
  • AWS D1.2 (Aluminum) Certification Preferred
  • AWS D1.6 (Stainless Steel) Certification Preferred
  • Experience using shop tools
