We are seeking a Production Superintendent to lead our plant operations in Ponca City, OK. This role is responsible for overseeing production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing of food products. The Superintendent will direct and develop supervisors, optimize production schedules, and maintain compliance with USDA, food safety, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage production teams to achieve efficiency, safety, and quality goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, USDA regulations, and food safety protocols.
  • Monitor daily production reports, inventory, and product flow across shifts.
  • Provide leadership, training, and performance feedback to supervisors.
  • Optimize the use of manpower, equipment, and resources to meet production schedules.
  • Support company planning through budgeting, capital expenditure recommendations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively across departments and shifts to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Must Have Qualifications

  • 3+ years of progressive managerial experience in production, manufacturing, or food processing.
  • Experience leading and developing production supervisors and teams.
  • Strong knowledge of safety, USDA, and food safety standards.
  • Proven ability to plan, schedule, and optimize production processes.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate between shifts and departments.
  • Ability to work 2nd shift (4 PM-2 AM) and weekends as required.
  • Physically able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in hot/cold and noisy environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Meat Science, Business, or related field.
  • Experience with budgeting, capital projects, and cost optimization.
  • Familiarity with McDonald's or major food service production standards.
  • Background in process improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
