Our client is seeking experienced Electro Mechanics to support high‑speed manufacturing operations on the night shift. If you enjoy troubleshooting, autonomy, and keeping complex equipment running safely and efficiently, this role offers stability, strong pay, and long weekends built into your schedule.

Work Schedule:

  • 5:45PM–6:15AM
  • Overtime available
  • Every other weekend off
  • 12‑hour continental rotation (3 days one week / 4 days the next)

Requirements:

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Document repairs and parts usage in the CMMS.
  • Follow all LOTO, PPE, and plant safety procedures.
  • Support spare parts inventory and parts room organization.
  • Operate shop equipment including mills, lathes, and band saws.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Diagnose root causes and determine whether issues are electrical or mechanical.
  • Work on motors, contactors, relays, and verify functionality using a multimeter.
  • Maintain and repair chillers, compressors, process pumps, ink pumps, and glue pumps.
  • Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC‑controlled systems.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Forklift experience a plus.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently on nights and manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable with physical work: ladders, lifts, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • 5+ years of industrial, manufacturing, or military maintenance experience.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with flexible packaging equipment such as:

  • Blown Film
  • Sheet Extrusion
  • Flexographic Printing
  • Lamination and Slitting.

Work Environment:

  • Steel‑toe shoes required.
  • Up to 7 hours of overtime per week.
  • Weekend work based on rotation.
