Packer/Delivery Driver

Classification: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

Salary Range: $27.50.00/hr - $29.00/hr based on experience

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pickup and deliver packages locally via company van
• Pack and unpack electronic assemblies, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads
• Create shipping labels for outgoing deliveries
• Assist with purchasing orders and organizing purchasing documentation
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Class C California Drivers License
• Clean driving record
• Must pass a background check
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Knowledge of Fed Ex and UPS Software
• Knowledge of Microsoft software including Excel and Word
• Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Work may include bending over or crouching. The employee will frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
