Job Title: R&D Pilot Plant litter Lab Technician Location: Pleasanton, California Type: Contract Compensation: $27.00 Hours: 7:30 to 4:00
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manufacture pilot-scale batches in accordance with approved batch instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and applicable safety and quality requirements.
- Complete and maintain accurate batch records, production documentation, and related records in a timely and compliant manner.
- Weigh and prepare ingredients, materials, and samples for pilot plant and laboratory activities in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and test runs for various product and package configurations, as required.
- Support production operations, including weighing, blending, filling, packaging, cleaning, and other related activities as assigned.
- Perform material weighing and handling activities in accordance with established requirements and safety practices.
- Blend materials in accordance with approved batch records, SOPs, and applicable quality standards.
- Clean and maintain equipment, work areas, and rooms in accordance with established cleaning procedures and specifications.
- Support laboratory activities and operate laboratory equipment in accordance with training, procedures, and applicable safety requirements.
Requirements
- Well organized and detail oriented with strong desire to explore innovation and expand knowledge base.
- Proactive, reliable, and self-motivated.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work across functions.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Ability to perform constant walking and standing on hard concrete surface.
- Experience in dust and fumes environments, with physical activities including bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and lifting.
