SUMMARY:

Plan, direct and coordinate the storage and distribution operations of inbound and outbound Stock-Keeping Unit’s (SKU’s) to ensure smooth and consistent operations. Ensue production material supplies and finished goods are distributed to proper departments/customers in an effective, and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and coordinate daily work activities of employees, while enforcing GMP’s and safety procedures
  • Expediting of Raw Materials and Packaging for production; based off contracts provided by Procurement Team in the approved supplier list.
  • Support Los Banos on Non-Stock Purchase orders. Review cost, supply, and demand. As well-set pricing agreements on non-stock materials specific to Los Banos.
  • Assist the Supply Chain Assistant Manager with the Inbound and Outbound Shipment processes, and carriers regarding Finished Good shipments to our customers.
  • Responsible for preparing and processing purchase orders in ERP and fulfilling contractual obligations in accordance with Company policies and government regulations.
  • Maintain Purchasing databases to ensure integrity of purchasing records/data and pricing in ERP and procurement files/databases.
  • Monitored resolution of pricing discrepancies, claims to factories and vendors for defectives, shortages or missing products.
  • Determines cases to be repacked in the warehouse and has Quality place on hold tags on the product and moves it to an appropriate area.
  • Contacts Quality to have inventory taken off hold, ships product within FIFO.
  • Ensures materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
  • Oversees the rotation of inventories within the warehouses.
  • Respond to customers' or shippers' questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution of services.
  • Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicles and equipment, order testing, maintenance, repair, or replacement parts.
  • Develop and document standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, shipping, or salvaging products or materials.
  • Monitors and measures Warehouse performance for accuracy of locator, receiving, reports, movement and storage of material and transfers.
  • Perform Cycle counts and adjust inventory as needed using the proper write off codes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.S. or B.A. in Business Management or related field or Three or more years’ experience in Warehousing, Procurement, Receiving, Inventory Control, or Materials Management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have experience with scheduling, routing, loading and extensive knowledge of the Rail network process.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Ross
  • Must be familiar with the Food Safety Modernization Act when it comes to transporting goods both inbound and outbound.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Must be available for yearend physical counts with auditor. Note that this normally falls on the New Year Eve Holiday. Will make accommodations for it to be the day before if production demand will allow.
  • Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.
  • Ability to organize and direct oneself and effectively supervise others.
  • Strong knowledge of Purchasing, Receiving, Warehouse, and Material Handling operations, methods, and practices.
  • Ability to develop personnel and equipment structures to support present and future operations.
  • Must be able to become certified and maintain certification through an OSHA approved forklift certification and as a First Responder
