Industrial Controls Panel Wiring Technician — Garland, TX

Are you at your best with a schematic in one hand and a torque driver in the other? We’re hiring multiple technicians to wire and assemble electrical control equipment with zero-defect quality and dependable throughput.

Is this you?
  • Can you read wiring diagrams, point-to-point drawings, and electrical schematics without breaking stride?
  • Do you take pride in neat, code-compliant terminations and thoroughly tested panels?
  • Are you fluent in PLC wiring and comfortable integrating power meters and control devices?
What you’ll handle
  • Wiring of control panels, switchgear, switchboards, and ATS units.
  • Assembly of electrical switchboard equipment and standard sub-assemblies.
  • Building panels end-to-end: measuring, drilling, tapping, and component layout.
  • Wiring from electrical drawings and instructions (oral and written) to complete assigned manufacturing tasks.
  • Inspection and functional testing to verify conformance with specifications and codes.
  • Tracking job progress, communicating parts shortages or roadblocks quickly.
  • Collaborating with the team, supporting during peak demand, working assigned hours and overtime as needed, and following scheduled start/stop and break times.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Bring these qualifications
  • 3+ years in electrical equipment manufacturing/assembly; panelboard/switchboard experience preferred.
  • Proven skill with wiring power meters and controls.
  • Strong ability to interpret wiring schematics and point-to-point diagrams.
  • Industrial control panel wiring experience (UL508A preferred).
  • Capability to build panels from scratch: measure, drill, tap, and precise layout.
  • Hands-on wiring of breakers, relays, contactors, transformers, indicator lights, SPDs, and related components.

Shifts
  • 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday
  • 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM, Monday–Friday
