Geiger’s Remodeling is hiring a Remodeling Tradesman for kitchen and bathroom remodel work in the Northlake / O’Hare area.
We are not looking for subcontractors, 1099 workers, or recruiters. This is a W2 employee position only.
We are a small, people-first remodeling company that handles full kitchen and bathroom remodels from demo to completion, including:
• Plumbing (rough & finish)
• Electrical (rough & finish)
• Drywall, tile, trim, cabinetry, flooring
• Full remodel sequencing and execution
This position will work directly alongside a lead remodeler and step into the role of an existing field technician.
What we’re looking for:
We are not looking for perfection—we are looking for someone who:
• Has exposure to kitchen/bath remodeling or multiple trades
• Understands or is willing to learn full job sequencing
• Can work with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tile, etc.
• Communicates well and respects customers in their home
• Is coachable and wants to grow long-term
We value attitude, communication, and integrity as much as experience.
Requirements:
• Driver’s license + clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check
• Physically capable of remodeling work (lifting 50–100 lbs, demo, kneeling, etc.)
• English speaking
• Located within ~25 minutes of Northlake / O’Hare preferred
Schedule:
• Monday–Friday
• Typically 8:30 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM
• Occasional optional evenings or Saturdays if desired
Compensation:
• $25–$30/hr starting DOE
• Opportunity for increases based on performance, reliability, and contribution
