Who Are We?

Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest-growing kids coding franchise. In our in-school program, kids ages 5 to 10 explore the worlds of coding, robotics, game design, 3D printing, circuitry, and more through fun, hands-on activities. Our students build creativity, confidence, logic, and teamwork skills while working on exciting projects that make learning feel like play. Our promise is simple: Kids have fun, parents see results, and we live by it every day.

What Are We Looking For?

We’re looking for a Sensei, a caring, energetic, and patient instructor to lead after-school sessions with kids ages 5 to 10. Depending on the group, you might be guiding younger students through playful, hands-on activities or helping older kids dive into beginner-friendly coding and robotics projects. You’ll create a fun, structured environment where students can learn, explore, and build confidence through tech. If you love working with kids and want to help spark curiosity and creativity in a high-energy setting, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Experience (Preferred):

  • Working with children
  • Exposure to coding, robotics, or STEM (a plus!)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting in leading after-school sessions for groups of 10 to 25 students, ages 5 to 10
  • Supporting another Sensei in delivering lessons on topics like coding, robotics, game design, 3D printing, and circuitry
  • Helping manage classroom flow and maintain a positive, structured learning environment
  • Engaging with students to keep them focused, on task, and supported during activities
  • Reinforcing key concepts from the curriculum through one-on-one and small group assistance
  • Preparing materials before class and assisting with cleanup after sessions
  • Collaborating with the Center Director and co-Senseis to ensure sessions run smoothly

What Makes a Great In-School Sensei

  • Enjoys working with groups of kids and keeping them engaged
  • Friendly, positive, and full of energy
  • Manages classroom behavior calmly and respectfully
  • Reliable, organized, and a good team player
  • Comfortable helping with tech topics like coding, robotics, and game design
