Entry Level Residential Electrician Qualifications and Skills:
- Submit to and pass drug screen.
- Valid Social Security Card
- Valid state drivers license with acceptable record
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Stand, kneel, pull continuously throughout a 10 hour shift

Residential Electrician Daily Duties:
- Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Trace out short circuits in wiring, using test meter.
- Measure cut and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
- Maintain tools, vehicles and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.
- Drill holes and push or pull wiring through opening, using hand and power tools.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers and other components.
