EXPERIENCE PARTY HOST 🎤🕯️🥂

ReWax and UnWine @rewaxandunwine_sugarland

$14/hour | Part-Time | Evenings + Weekends

Can you bring the party AND keep it on schedule?

At ReWax and UnWine, we’re not the quiet candle-making class.

We dance. We sing. We sip. We play games. We laugh. We make candles. And sometimes, we grab the mic and turn a room full of strangers into one big party.

As an Experience Host, you’re the person who helps make that happen.

You don’t need to know how to dance.
You don’t need to be a singer.
And you definitely don’t need to be a professional entertainer.

But you DO need to be willing to participate.

If the room needs energy, you’re willing to dance first. If it’s time for karaoke, you’ll grab the mic. If we’re playing a game, you’re not standing in the corner watching—you help get the crowd involved.

Here’s the catch:

While everyone else is partying, you’re still paying attention.

You know what time it is. You know where guests should be in the candle-making process. You know when it’s time to turn the music down and give the next instruction. And you know when it’s time to move the party along.

We’re looking for the perfect balance:

FUN + FOCUSED.

Not someone who’s too shy to get the party started.

And not someone who gets so caught up in the party that they forget they’re running it.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

🎤 HOST THE PARTY

  • Welcome guests and set the vibe.
  • Lead groups through our signature candle-making experience.
  • Speak confidently in front of a full room.
  • Get guests laughing, talking and interacting.
  • Encourage guests to dance, sing, play games and participate.
  • Grab the mic when the room needs a little energy.
  • Serve guests bottled drinks and snacks throughout the experience.
  • Celebrate birthdays, date nights, girls’ nights and special occasions.
  • Help turn a room full of different personalities into one shared experience.

You don’t have to be the loudest person in the room.

You do have to be comfortable creating energy when the room needs it.

⏰ RUN THE CLOCK

Time management is a BIG deal at ReWax and UnWine.

Our experiences run on a schedule. While guests are sipping, singing and having fun, you are quietly keeping track of everything happening in the room.

You’ll:

  • Start experiences on time.
  • Know where guests should be in the candle-making process.
  • Keep a large group moving together.
  • Give clear instructions and time cues.
  • Know when to let the party breathe—and when it’s time to move on.
  • Redirect the room without killing the vibe.
  • Keep individual guest questions from slowing down the entire experience.
  • Keep the experience from running behind.
  • Reset quickly so the next experience can start on time.

The guests can lose track of time. You can’t.

🕯️ YES, YOU’LL GET YOUR HANDS DIRTY

When the mic goes down, the work doesn’t stop.

Everyone on our team helps.

You’ll clean and prepare candles, remove wax from vessels, handle wax and fragrance oils, clean spills and workstations, wash tools, restock supplies, set up and break down stations, reset the studio and jump in wherever the team needs you.

You might be leading karaoke at 8:15 and cleaning wax at 8:45.

That’s the job.

YOU’LL PROBABLY LOVE THIS JOB IF…

  • You’re naturally personable.
  • You can talk to strangers without making it weird.
  • You’re comfortable being on a microphone.
  • You’re playful but responsible.
  • You can dance terribly and still have a good time doing it.
  • You’ll sing even if nobody is giving you a record deal.
  • You can have fun around alcohol without forgetting you’re at work.
  • You notice when someone isn’t having a good time and know how to pull them in.
  • You can handle 20+ personalities without losing yours.
  • You’re organized and have strong time-management skills.
  • You’re punctual and dependable.
  • You can watch the clock while doing five other things.
  • You’re willing to get your hands dirty.
  • When something goes wrong, you figure it out instead of freezing.
