Behavior Technician (BT)

Rebound Home & Community Therapies

Behavior Technicians provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Under the supervision of a BCBA, BTs help clients build communication, social, daily living, and independence skills while working toward individualized treatment goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in center, home, or community settings.
  • Implement treatment plans and teaching programs developed by a BCBA.
  • Collect accurate data and complete required session documentation.
  • Support clients with communication, social, play, and daily living skills.
  • Maintain client safety and confidentiality.
  • Communicate professionally with families and the clinical team.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and assigned client schedules.
  • Attend required training, supervision, and team meetings.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass required background checks.
  • Experience with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not required.
  • RBT certification preferred; training is available for qualified candidates.
  • Must be dependable, patient, professional, and willing to learn.
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of providing ABA services, including active play, bending, squatting, floor engagement, and lifting approximately 40 pounds as needed.

No ABA experience? That's okay! We provide training and ongoing BCBA supervision to help you develop the skills needed to succeed as a Behavior Technician.
