Meredith’s Miracles Thrift Store Employee

This person is responsible for processing donations for sale by preparing, organizing, pricing, cleaning, and disposing items and other inventory related job duties as assigned by Meredith’s Miracle Thrift Store manager.

This person shall become knowledgeable of Meredith’s Miracle Mission Statement and conduct themselves in a manner which represents the core values of this organization which is to honor and serve children (and families) with medical needs.  

This person shall possess positive interpersonal skills to include:

A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus

A positive attitude and clear communication skills

The ability to be self-motivated and well-organized

Adheres to work schedule (prompt to work)

Conducts oneself with integrity (trustworthiness, honesty, and leadership skills) on and off the job.

Physical requirements:

Must be able to lift and move 25 lbs or less of inventory

Duties:

Sort and hang clothes and other donated items

Work outside on the loading dock

Move totes to and from storage areas

Clean bathrooms, sweep, mop, other housekeeping duties as assigned by managers. 

Other duties as assigned to maintain the daily operations of MM Thrift Shop.

Meredith's Miracles is a 501 C3 non-profit organization specializing in assisting families in 27 counties in Alabama with travel expenses during medical emergencies.  We exist to bring awareness of childhood medical issues and to assist families with non-medical expenses that can accrue when a child needs medical services.
