Role Description

The Legal Intern position is a full-time, temporary internship running from August 10, 2026, through November 30, 2026.

The position will be on-site at the firm’s Tysons, Virginia office during August and September. The internship will transition to a fully remote arrangement for October and November.

The Legal Intern will support attorneys by conducting legal research, assisting with the preparation of legal documents, and organizing case files and client records. Responsibilities may include drafting memoranda, assisting with contracts and other transactional documents, reviewing legal issues involving corporate law, real estate, immigration, estate planning, and other practice areas, and summarizing research findings for supervising attorneys.

The intern may also assist with client communications under attorney supervision, attend meetings or proceedings when appropriate, and provide general administrative support to help maintain an efficient workflow across the firm.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in law and the ability to analyze complex legal issues involving corporate law, real estate, immigration, and related practice areas.
  • Experience or demonstrated ability in legal document preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, memoranda, and other legal documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients.
  • Interest or experience in legal consulting, including providing research-based insights and supporting strategic legal solutions.
  • Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an accredited law school; good academic standing is preferred.
  • Strong legal research, critical-thinking, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with legal research platforms, Microsoft Office, or comparable software.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in both on-site and remote professional environments.
  • Professional conduct, integrity, sound judgment, and respect for confidentiality when handling client and firm information.
  • Ability to work on-site in Tysons, Virginia during August and September and remotely during October and November.
